We have all walked in to the house of a friend and seen photographs on their walls. What is your reaction to that?

Personally - even thought I'm a photographer - I tend to stop and look, to see if I can work out their story, the event it was taken at and what the differences are from then to now.

I recall one very close friend had a family portrait on their wall and being in awe and somewhat envious that his family had such a photograph; I thought these things were only for the wealthy. I was wrong!

You could fill every wall with family portraits and fill every drawer with an album - but you never would, you might put some photographs in storage after a few years and maybe refresh your display, but one or two will take pride of place and will probably move house with you or be handed down from generation to generation.

As a daddy to three lovely girls - one of them a young baby - I know so well how fast the time flies. One minute they’re struggling to smile and the next they’re sitting up and before you know it they’re running around and talking. I know how important it is to capture those special moments and the difference it makes to my life having beautiful photographs on display.

With people’s busy lives I know that many families might struggle to find time for a portrait session and will often put it off until another time. Time flies by and the portraits never get created and our children grow up right before our eyes.

We are with you from getting ready to the last dance - sometimes it's important to pose the guests or arrange small groups, but mostly wedding photogaraphy is about capturing what happens as it happens, the smiles and the laughs, the tears and the cuddles, and all the details which go in to making your wedding the most special day.

Around one week after your wedding we will have a reveal session in our studio where you get to see your photographs and we will choose your favourite photographs to go into your album and to go on your walls..
